Seasons greetings from the Governingbody of AOI South zone.

After the gala experience of the AOI Southzone Conference along with AOI Tamilnadu state Conference held at Chennai under the stewardship of Dr.Mohan Kameswaran and Dr.Jacinth Cornelius. Really a star studded programme with international and national faculty have taken part in the programme with several sessions. The Conference was inaugurated by Hon. Deputy Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Mr.MK Stalin.

The General body meeting held at the venue of the Conference had resolved to take active measures to make Southazone AOI a stronger body so as to compensate the nonfunctional National Body. Several members Drs.Dwarakanatha Reddy,PSN Murthy,Mohan Kameswaran,RS Mudhol,Kishorechandra Prasad spoke in the GB meeting supporting. It is also decided to make more AOI members so that we can have a better say. Dwarakanatha Reddy and PSN Murthy informed that Hyderabad will be bidding for AOI office in the forth coming elections and seeked the support of all the constituent associations. There is overwhelming response and everyone supported the move.

The office is shifted to Hyderabad for next three years. Dr.Ramakrishnaiah of AP Branch had taken over as the Secretary General and Dr.Srinivas as the treasurer. The office will be situated at Govt ENT Hospital which also holds the other AOI offices of Hyderabad and AP branch and the IJOHNS. We wish Dr.Ramakrishnaiah and his team all good luck to take AOI Southzone into a fast forward mode.

Dr.Dwarakanath Reddy takes over from Dr.Mohan kameswaran as the Chairman of the steering Committee to guide the branch.

Dr.PSN Murthy continues to be the Editor and webmaster for the second term. The website is inaugurated by Dr.Rajasekhara Reddy, Hon CM of Andhra Pradesh during the inauguration. We have also uploaded the photographs of the Conference.

The next Southzone Conference is slated to be held at picturesque city of Mysore under the AOI Karnataka chapter along with AOI Karnataka state annual Conference. Dr.Govinde Gowda is the organizing Secretary.
